The Great British Road Trip - Cornwall & The Isle of Wight (2020)

It's the summer of 2020 and we're continuing our Great British adventure despite the havoc caused by a certain mexican beer brand. This time we are in the south west, touring through Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and finally the Isle of Wight.

Here are the pics. The ever awesome videos are at the bottom of the page.

Cornish coast

St Ives

The enormous Gwithian Beach overlooking St Ives Bay.

The town of St Ives across the bay.

The beach is over 4 miles long.

Land's End

St Michael's Mount

Plymouth

Hoe Park above Plymouth Sound.

The Royal Citadel on the left.

Tinside Lido if you don't fancy a swim in the sea.

South Devon

This pretty little beach is called Blackpool Sands.

Dartmouth

Dartmouth harbour.

Kingswear on the other side with a mega-yacht in between.

The Isle of Wight

Our ferry coming in. In the distance, behind it, is the Isle of Wight.

Leaving Lymington harbour.

Yarmouth Castle on the island.

North coast and the 'mainland' in the distance.

The Needles... of course.

Rugged beach on the south coast.

... back on the mainland, entering Southampton

And now the promised videos:

That's all for The Great British Road Trip in 2020. Don't forget to check out other adventures under the Road Trips tab above.

The adventure continues in 2021.
