The Great British Road Trip - Oban to Kinross (Day 6)

Setting off from Oban we're heading to the northern most point of our trip, Inverness with Loch Ness in between. From there we head south cutting across The Cairngorms National Park which, I can safely say, has some of the best driving roads in the UK.

First leg of the trip is Oban to Inverness

When the first thing you see in the morning looks like this, you just know it's going to be a good day.

The view off Ballachulish Bridge looking west...

... and east.

On the shores of Loch Ness. Weather has turned miserable so not many pics.

Some great dashcam footage of this first leg.

Inverness. As far north as we get in this trip.

In pictures...

and Inverness in film...

For the second leg of the trip we head across the The Cairngorms in the eastern Scottish Highlands. As I said above, here you will find the best driving roads in the country. Just watch the dashcam action below.

And finally a few pics from the highlands...

Up in the clouds.

Note the outside temperature and the date and time.

That's it folks for today. Tomorrow we're in Edinburgh.
