The Great British Road Trip - Cardiff to Aberystwyth (Day 2)

This is Day 2 of our little road trip and after seeing Bath, Bristol and the Cheddar Gorge yesterday, we are in the South of Wales.
Setting off from Cardiff, up The Valleys towards the Brecon Beacons, then down to Tenby and we end the day in Aberystwyth on the Ceredigion Coast.

Tenby is a picture perfect seaside resort town. In the bright summer sun it looks almost Mediterranean.

Islands,

Castle walls,

Colorful buildings,

and ice cold water to remind you that you're still in Britain.

This is one of the prettiest photos I've ever taken. Just look at it!
And now Tenby in motion...

Some cruising through the Pembrokeshire countryside...

And finally Aberystwyth

Judging by the overall state of the buildings Aberystwyth is far from its glory days, but it's still worth seeing once.

Driving along the coast and in Aberystwyth...

That's it for Day 2, tomorrow we drive up the mountains of Snowdonia.
